For someone who does not have
the space, time or means to care for a horse, yet still wants to feel connected to this wonderful world of horses may want
the option of sponsoring one. Or maybe you understand the meaning horses bring to people's lives. Morning Dove currently
has 14 horses and would like to expand our herd to accommodate the growing demand for our services.
The cost of running a therapeutic
riding program is high because horse care is high. Each horse requires feed, hay, supplements or medications, veterinary
care, ferrier visits, chiropractor visits and equipment like saddles bridles and blankets. We take great care at Morning
Dove to ensure that horses receive the best quality care. With out them we cannot run our program. Without the
support of generous horse owners, we would not be able to continue. Owners trust that when they turn over the care of
their horse that we will provide the best to ensure their health.
Due to the nature of our program horses are usually older in age
requiring a closer eye to keep them sound and healthy. When you sponsor a horse you are helping to uphold that
reputation and directly impacting the lives of the children they impact. Your donations will go to offset the cost of
horse care so that we can continue to offer classes at the lowest rate in the area of only $20 per lesson and maintain
our policy of never turning anyone away because of financial need. Please consider sponsoring one of our special horses and
